Our Mission

SE Defense Technologies was founded on the principle of providing easy-to-use identification tools for our Military and First Responders. Our platforms leverage proven technologies that we tailor to meet the needs of highly encumbered end users working in high pressure environments. These intuitive products allows for fast training (typically, less than five minutes) with a 100% confidence that the trainee will be able to properly run the device as well as interpret the results.

Managing Director & CEO
Shawn Feaster, Ph.D. founded SE Detection, LLC in 2018. He possesses over 25-years diagnostics RD&C experience including US Blue Chip, Federal Government, and Small Capitalization companies. His career has encompassed all aspects of RD&C strategy development including technology identification, development, and integration. He is an expert in understanding the voice of the consumer, project/program management, and intellectual asset management.
Shawn is a proven leader with a large constituency network within the JPEO-CBRND. He has successfully been involved with instigating programs of record and developing products and technologies to fulfill those programs’ needs. Providing simple, intuitive tools that provide provide actionable results is his personal mantra.
General Manager
Elliot has over 15 years of industry experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and in vitro diagnostic fields. He brings a strong ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 Quality Management System background along with his talents in business operations and U.S. Government contracting. A majority of his professional career has been dedicated to providing high quality biothreat assays to the U.S. Department of Defense.
As a proven leader, he has led efforts to build cohesive teams, expand business reach, and develop new and improved products. Elliot enjoys interacting and collaborating with the end users of our products. He is dedicated to working to provide practical, quality products to help our military and first responders do their jobs safely and effectively.
